Professional Practice Framework Workshops

The Australian Nursing and Midwifery Council (ANMC) are currently conducting a series of Train the Trainer Workshops on the ANMC Professional Practice Framework.
The Professional Practice Framework is the matrix of standards including:
- Code of Ethics
- Code of Professional Conduct
- Competency Standards
- Other relevent standards and documents.
These documents support nurses and midwives in providing 'safe, quality care in an increasingly complex and challenging health environment' (www.anmc.org.au).

According to the ANMC website, the following workshops are NOW FULL:
- Sydney - February 17 and 19
- Perth - March 2
- Launceston - March 15
- Hobart - March 17
- Gold Coast - April 7
- Rockhampton - April 9
- Brisbane - April 12 and April 13
- Adelaide - April 28
Notes (as at 4 March 2010):
- Workshops have been endorsed by the Royal College of Nursing, Australia (RCNA) has endorsed the workshops and attendance attracts 5 RCNA Continuing Nurse Education (CNE) points.
- At the request of the Nurses Board of Victoria, the ANMC confirms that the PPF workshops scheduled to be held in Victoria have been cancelled.
