Preceptor Development Workshop - *New**

The Nursing Centre now offers a unique one-day professional development activity for nursing preceptors - the Preceptor Development Workshop.  Learning objectives include:

• Understand the leadership and public relations role of the preceptor
• Understand the role of key nursing competencies and standards and their relationship to the preceptor role
• Create an environment conducive to learning in the preceptor role
• Identify and apply effective preceptor attributes
• Apply theory to action in problem based learning scenarios.
