National Magnet Conference 2009
Overview
In May 2009, The Nursing Centre in conjuction with our associates, Creative Health Care Management (CHCM), conducted an Excellence in Nursing event series in Melbourne. One of the half-day workshops conducted was on an Introduction to the Magnet Hospital Principles. Following on from this successful event, we'd like to bring to details of the ANCC National Magnet Conference, being held in Louisville, Kentucky, from 1-3 October 2009.

In Australia, two hospitals hold Magnet Designation - including:
Princess Alexandria Hospital in Brisbane who first achieved Magnet designation in 2004, and in 2008 successfully achieved re-designation. Click here to visit their Magnet information page.
